When I came to yoga I was unfit, overweight and unhappy. I could barely move my body, much less hold downward facing dog or child's pose. But yoga made me feel better and I kept going back. During class I didn't think about my problems outside the room. I didn't think about being overweight or hopeless.
I felt great.
So I started practicing more and walking the neighborhood and a year later I was fifty pounds lighter and a much better wife and mother.
And I was a whole woman.
Grown up and courageous.
I had my own identity and a richer spiritual side. Yoga did that for me.
I knew that if I was going to stay on the path of wellness that I had to incorporate yoga and wellness into all aspects of my life. So I introduced my kids to yoga. I became a yoga teacher so I could introduce others to the practice and help them with their journey toward harmony and whole health. I am registered with Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level & recently submitted my documentation to get my E-RYT designation, which I earned by teaching over 1,000 hours of yoga.
I am currently pursuing my yoga therapy certification under Nimai Norbu, the current Suddha Ayurveda li

neage holder. This certification will help me expand my capacity to help others bring balance into their lives.
I have three young children who already have a great love of yoga. Prior to my life as a mom and yoga teacher I sold print advertising and worked for a few small advertising agencies.
